Owen’s storyWhile I was enjoying the sun in Bali a friend Jacqui contacted me needing a room to rent after getting back to Australia Jacqui wanted to have a house warming party welcoming herself to the house hold (Sure have you got any single lady friends I said)on the night of the 19th Jacqui walked in with a few others and straight away Suezet had my attention throughout the night I I showed Suezet around the house taking every opportunity to get her along and kept asking Jacqui what the short one’s name is and checking that she is single eventually Jacqui said if you want to get with my friend you will have to remember her name so I started calling Suezet, Smurfette (not to her face) but as way to remember her name and not look silly around Suezet

Suezet's story;I came with my friend to Owen's house for a small housewarming party, to welcome Jacqui to the household (Owens house). Us gals, Jacqui, Deb &amp; I were drinking at a bottomless brunch event so a bit tipsy. We got a lift &amp; myplan was to go home as I had to work the next day (bookkeeping from home) my kids were at their dads. As we pulled up to my East Albury unit, I was getting out when Jacqui &amp; Deb said, "come on Suezet stuff work come with us, drink more 😁". I umm and arred then,"oh what the hell".Not 2 min into the drive to Wodonga Jacqui is like,"Suezet, you should meet my housemate, he's the one that owns the house 🤔😊, he's single".My response and yes at this point a bit tipsy,"Does he have a belly? How old is he? Not sure if I'm ready to meet someone yet".Let's say we hit it off very quickly, me talking about my Capri &amp; Owen showing me photos of the yellow Monaro his family own and restored together. I also looked at the hanging planes, "are these real? As in do they all fly?" 😂As I walked from the shed (the spot we first met) Jacqui was like,"what ya think?" Then later"Suezet, don't get too drunk you are wanting to impress Owen".Well, he must've been impressed as he showed me around the house including theHarley. He got me to 'help' cook the chicken at the bbq, this is where he first wrapped his arm around me. We then went to play some pool where he took theopportunity to steal a first kiss when I sank a ball in our doubles game 😜, cheeky. No, I didn't stay the night but I gave him my number and went home late that night, where I messaged one of my BFFs and said, "I met a really great guy". Yes there is more but this is my version of how we met 😍.

Charmaine & I have known each other since year 5, 1994, we met at Tumbarumba primary school. Charmaine has consistently been a part of my life throughout the years and been a great rock, she was very supportive in my crazy 2023 year and the first person I shared to about meeting Owen.

Of course this is my mum. Unconventional, but feels right, mum has been a major rock throughout my life, she is great support and company, I love the chance to have her by my side on one of the happiest days of my life.

Jacqui has become an important part of my new life and all the changes of 2023, she has been good company and a friend who has been there when I needed a chat or someone to have a few drinks with. Most importantly is she introduced me & Owen.
